Wellington Regional Final of the New Zealand Community Trust Secondary Schools Girls Cricket Competition

The Tawa College 1st XI Girls Cricket team has won the Wellington Regional Final of the New Zealand Community Trust Secondary Schools Girls Cricket Competition and will be competing in the National Secondary School Final early in December.  The team will be defending their National title which they won in 2014 &1015.

A highlight of the match was Amelia Kerr's 108 not out.  There was also impressive bowling performances from Phoenix Williams 3/19, Danielle Watson 2/19, Roshani Jemimah Thuraisingham 2/20 and Jeneesha Maisuria 2/2.

Members of the Tawa College 1st XI Girls Cricket team are Kate Fenton, Anna-Leigh Gillies, Eithne Hunt, Amelia Kerr, Rachael Lockhart, Olivia Macrae, Janeesha Maisuria, Jamie Rawiri, Hephzibah Thuraisingham, Roshani Thuraisingham, Danielle Watson and Phoenix Williams.
