Friday 7 November - Year 10 students released at 1.20pm following conclusion of their exams.
Monday 10 November - Year 9 and 10 students released at 12.20pm due to Paid Union Meeting.
Wednesday 19 November - Year 9 and 10 students released at 1.20pm due to staff training.
Buses will be arranged for early closures on the 10th and 19th only. Buses will depart at the normal time on 7th November.

One of the topics on the Year 13 Legal Studies course was "Social Action". Students organised a protest against bullying as part of the Mad Butchers #BeefWithBullies campaign. All money raised will go towards this campaign.

In 2015 Tawa College aims to become BYOD-enabled, with students able to access Internet services using a device of their own.
A test run will be held in Term 4 when students will be able to log-on with one device on Friday October 17th.
Students are required to sign the BYOD form: which is to be returned to the school Office by Wednesday October 15th.

40 students from Tawa Intermediate School came to visit the Digital Technology department on Monday the 8th of September. They learnt about vector graphics which are used everywhere from clothes to websites to billboards. The students learnt to use several tools in Adobe Illustrator to design some food packaging. We hope to see some of these students enrolling on our Digital Information Technology (DIT) course or the new Computing & Information Science (CSI) course for 2015.
