On Saturday 25th July from 11am till 3pm, in association with the Victoria Engineering Club, we be running a fun event open to all high school students interested in DT. It will be in the Alan McDiarmid building. We will be playing around with Arduinos and will run a programming competition with Ruby Warrior. Lunch will be a shared lunch.

On Thursday 15th of October students from Year 12 and 13 were presented with their qualifications and certificates from their MQUAL course. Arranged through Gateway, students were tested on their ability to rescue people who are injured or in trouble, set up dams, put out fires and use generators, all during one of the coldest weeks of the year. Worth 20 credits at Level 3 this course is intended for students who are thinking about a career with the fire service or police force. Congratulations all the students who took part.
